Sales & Marketing Internship Program

The T. Rowe Price 10-week Summer Internship Program offers an opportunity to gain valuable work experience while building skills and long-term career potential. Through teamwork, innovative thinking, and application of your skills, you can add value in various ways to our firm and the clients we support. You will have the opportunity to work with practitioners in the field who are forward-thinking, passionate people that will help you integrate what you learn in school with “real world” business initiatives.
The program includes a formal orientation, peer and senior mentor assignments, and formal learning opportunities. In addition to the work assignments within the assigned department, Interns also gain exposure to Associates and senior leaders across the firm through an executive speaker series, networking activities, and engagement with our Business Resource Groups.
The U.S. Intermediaries business has been built with discipline over 25 years, anchored in successful home office engagement, long-tenured relationships with key platforms, and with a focus on deepening and growing our partnerships with financial institutions and advisors. The types of intermediaries that we partner with include broker/dealers, national and regional banks, registered investment advisors, platform service providers, large defined contribution recordkeepers, and insurance companies. Our sales, support and marketing activities are aligned to serve distinct intermediary ecosystems and are designed to consistently deliver high-value products, services and offers to all of our clients.
The internship program will provide a consistent and accurate foundation upon which to make informed business decisions for the US Intermediaries department across all business segments including Broker Dealer, Financial Institutions and Retirement. Projects may include developing processes, creating reports, competitor analysis, enhancing advisor profiling through data acquisition and inventory management.
Additional responsibilities may include:
- Evaluate and refine current processes and procedures
- Analyze current business strategy to identify areas of opportunity (from an internal process perspective as well as client-facing perspective)
- Prescribe a plan for implementation of changes and ways to monitor performance
- FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.
- Full time student pursing a bachelor’s degree with and expected graduation date of December 2022 – May/June 2024.
- Open to all Majors including but not limited to Marketing, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, and Political Science
- Cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
