We are looking for exceptional interns with deep interest in education technology (edtech) to participate in our unpaid academic internship program.
The interns will build skills in educational technology and STEAM education using our software Morphi by itself and in conjunction with other leading 2D and 3D tools and apps. The Interns will work on a variety of projects, including among others things:
- assisting with creating K-12 STEAM project ideas and concepts and developing curriculum/lesson plans across subjects using our app Morphi (alone or in conjunction with other tools)
- helping develop strategy for outreach to schools, camps, afterschool programs and parents, including building community
- identifying ways to better connect with educators, and other projects.
At any time, interns may also suggest their own ed tech projects in their areas of academic interest during the internship.
The goal of the 11 week internship is to provide interns with experiential learning. The Intern will have the opportunity to build skills in STEAM project design and edtech as well explore 3D modeling for AR, VR, visualization, 3D printing, animation, game design and other areas.
Supervision, mentoring and feedback will be provided throughout the internship.
Some teaching experience and enrollment in a degree program for Education. Experience in lesson plans/curriculum writing is a plus.
Interns should also have an interest in experimenting with Morphi, our easy to learn 3D design software and a basic understanding or interest in other educational apps that are used in schools for design, creativity, storytelling and makerspace activities. The Internship is remote so interns will be using their own devices and we will provide free licenses to our Morphi software for their iPads, iPhones and Mac and Windows computers, as applicable.
As this is an unpaid internship, we prefer students who have the ability to receive academic/internship credit for this internship.
