MACPAC, a non-partisan legislative branch agency that advises the U.S. Congress on Medicaid and CHIP policy issues, is seeking an experienced graphic designer to join its small but nimble communications team. The graphic designer supports MACPAC’s editorial work by designing and formatting reports to Congress, data books, and a variety of other print and digital materials. Print experience is a must. The graphic designer will also be responsible for complying with and implementing MACPAC branding guidelines across all products, as well as ensuring compliance with relevant standards for format and accessibility (section 508 compliance).
Applicants should have experience with:
· Adobe InDesign, Acrobat and Illustrator software programs;
· Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel;
· WordPress content management or similar system; and
· managing brand identities.
This position requires a bachelor’s degree, and at least three years of relevant work experience.
This is a full-time position offering federal employee health and retirement benefits.
