The Actuarial Department plays a key role in managing risks undertaken by the Company. We do this by gathering data, measuring and analyzing financial performance, and predicting future patterns of behavior. We also assist in the creation and development of new products and concepts that will be of value to policyholders and enhance profitability to the Company. Our internship is paid and typically runs from May to August. Interns are expected to work full-time for the summer (37.5 hours) and be able to work side by side with management and senior level actuaries to provide materials to further our company and products for our policyholders. Interns are presented with challenging and meaningful actuarial projects throughout the summer that will provide them with useful actuarial experience while allowing them to develop personally and professionally.
