You have a passion for building brands. You love collaborating with teammates. Your designs resonate with customers and inspire them to action. You have incredible attention to detail and know how typography and color palettes build brand affinity and recognition. You love brand guidelines — but you love creating those brand guidelines more.
What you will be doing:
GrowSquares is looking for a Brand Design intern to translate our brand values into a unique visual brand identity that will live across our website, social channels, marketing materials, and more. This person will own the GrowSquares brand identity, working closely with our marketing team to bring our brand values to life across our digital channels and marketing materials to build buzz around our brand.
Understanding of consumer needs and business goals
Experience with cross-team collaboration (marketing, UX/UI, product)
Excellent brand design skills, with a strong understanding of design fundamentals
Experience in using digital design tools, e.g. Sketch, Figma, InDesign, Photoshop
Understanding of social media aesthetics (knowledge of social tools a plus)
A portfolio demonstrating your visual design experience
May be asked to help with animation or other motion design work
Coding experience is rather nice to have but not required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, familiar with tools like Slack and Asana
