Be a part of the Legacy. Arizona Conservation Corps (AZCC) is a cornerstone program within the Conservation Legacy family of programs. AZCC is a dynamic and fast paced program which has deep roots in the communities of Flagstaff and Tucson and has continued to grow and evolve since beginning in 1996. AZCC engages young adults in conservation service with land management partners from operational bases located in Flagstaff and Tucson. AZCC has an immediate need for a Recruitment Outreach and Communication Manager.
AZCC consists of a passionate and mission driven team of staff working from these diverse locations to support projects throughout the state – from Grand Canyon in the north to Saguaro National Park in the south; across the 6 national forests in Arizona which include parts of the largest contiguous Ponderosa Pine forest stand in the world; to the 4 deserts which blanket the state. Both the work which AZCC does and living in Arizona is large in scale and grand in impact.
Our next Recruitment Outreach and Communication Manager will have great networking and relationship building skills. The primary focus of this critical position is to develop relationships with community organizations and schools in an effort to increase and diversify member recruitment. Join us in making an impact, assisting AZCC in reaching its recruitment goals. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in youth development, conservation, national service, or corps field.
