Anthem Press, a London-headquartered thriving and fast-growing independent international academic and professional publisher, is seeking a highly motivated and creative intern to support its communications, marketing and social media efforts.
The role is very flexible – you can work remotely, and can largely organise your hours as you wish – and it will allow the right individual to gain invaluable experience across marketing functions in publishing.
Ideally, Anthem would be looking for a mid/long-term commitment of 6 months plus. At the end of the internship, should there be a vacancy, a permanent position may be offered. Previous interns have joined Anthem in full-time roles or taken up excellent positions in leading publishing companies.
Hours: approximately 15 -25 hours / week (TBD)
Familiarity with G Suite / Docs highly desirable
Excellent communication skills, writing skills, and command of the English language essential
Ability to create relevant and engaging messages and compelling marketing copy / press releases
Working knowledge of social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn) highly desirable
Highly resourceful and productive
Excellent attention to detail and ability to learn quickly
Ability to demonstrate some knowledge of the publishing business
Provide assistance in producing podcasts and/or webinars
Ability to develop relationships with members of the press / media
Local minimum wage (after an initial 2-week probationary period)
