The Washington International Diplomatic Academy is an independent organization that provides practical professional training in diplomacy and international affairs.
The summer intern will work on the preparation and execution of our Summer Diplomatic Academy, which is offered both in person and online. They will assist the executive director and instructors with presentations, research, evaluations and other duties. They will act as a liaison between instructors and trainees. Other tasks may be assigned as needed, including research and writing for the Diplomatic Diary.
Applicants should have completed their sophomore year and have an interest in diplomacy and international affairs. They should be diligent, reliable and dependable, possess excellent interpersonal and writing skills, and should be available to work in person in Downtown DC from 9:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. EDT in July. Outside of this timeframe, hours will be flexible, and some of the work can be done remotely.
