Each participating elementary school in the K-5 Early Intervention Program is assigned one Family Student Interventionist (FSI)/Family Crisis Therapist who works with identified children and families whose behavior impedes their learning process and or the learning process of others. The FSI works to de-escalate behaviors using social and emotional coping tools as well as home visits to support parents with additional skill building.
