The Systems and Solutions Planning & Strategy group delivers actionable insights that chart the course for Seagate’s Systems & Lyve service business. Our entrepreneurial team supports the larger executive leadership to guide planning, investment, go-to-market, product strategy, pricing, and business intelligence. We work cross-functionally across sales, finance, and product managers to consolidate a coherent strategic vision for our portfolio of products, services, and solutions.
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented graduate summer intern to join our team as a business intelligence and operations analyst. You will contribute and manage projects and deliverables ranging from business reporting, KPIs and goal setting, strategic planning, and business process improvement.
About the role – you will:
- Support various strategic initiatives in coordination with our technical product, customer-facing, and operations teams to offer focused solutions that positively impact our customers
- Assist in day-to-day data analysis and reporting deliverables to support decision making for our organization
- Build, improve, and maintain critical business dashboards & reporting utilized by sales, product management, operations, and finance
- Support business data integrity by reviewing and improving existing data workflows
- Project manage a data analytics & process improvement project to improve and expand our visibility across the organization for upcoming roadmap services
- Collaborate with a team of cross-functional stakeholders to map, design, and implement operational process improvements to deliver new services to market
- Assist the pricing team in generating customer quotations and processing order deployments

Your experience includes:
- Currently enrolled and pursuing a graduate degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Data Science, or related fields (and returning to school in Fall 2024)
- High degree of proficiency in MS Excel & PowerPoint
- Academic or professional experience building and cleaning datasets using R, Python, SQL or workflow tools (experience with Alteryx Workflow Designer a big plus)
- High proficiency with Tableau or related dashboarding platforms to analyze and visualize business intelligence and operational data
- Professional experience in a business operations role such as account management, pricing support, or fulfilment operations a big plus

The estimated base salary range for this position: $20/hr -$40/hr. Actual salary range is based on the regional labor market of the role in the geography in which the position is located based on the requirements of the job and your skills. This posted salary range is a good faith and reasonable estimate, and Seagate reserves the right to adjust this range depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
