Located in Brewster, the Educational Intern will work on our campus, which includes an approved Department of Elementary and Secondary schools, with nursing and a physician directly on campus. You will have the opportunity to work directly with students/residents diagnosed with Prader-Willi Syndrome and individuals with a trauma background. Interns will work collectively with classroom teachers and educational administration on meeting students’ Individualized Education Plan goals and using the common core in the classrooms. Requirements include a High School degree or GED, and you must exhibit ambulatory ability sufficient to physically intervene in instances of behavior that might jeopardize the safety of students and staff.
